Mark is an internationally-certified personal trainer. He was born in London, England, and grew up in Western Jamaica. He lived between both countries until he moved to Japan.

Mark is extremely passionate about living a healthy lifestyle. He uses his passion through his boot camp to inspire members to change their lifestyles, achieve their fitness goal, and live healthier happier lives. Mark doesn't just work out with you and then sends you on your way. No. He genuinely wants to see you succeed, so he goes the extra mile as he motivates you to change your eating habits and overall lifestyle. He will encourage you to drop your excuses, build discipline into your lifestyle, and realize your full potential beyond just fitness.  In boot camp you will be forming new friendships with like-minded people, motivating each other, working as a team, and having fun while melting away the fat.

If you cannot commit to regular sessions, there is also a ticket system.

12 tickets cost ¥20,000

Mark would however prefer for members to commit to coming regularly instead of sporadically.

Turn at the 7 Eleven just west of the Nagakute Central Post Office. Pure Club is on the right. 

Free parking available for up to 14 cars.

If taking the train, Pure Club is a 1-minute walk from Hanamizuki-Dori Station (Exit 2) on the Linimo line, which is one stop from Fujigaoka Station at the end of the yellow Higashiyama subway line going eastbound.

Q. Do I have to come to every boot camp session?

A. If you want to achieve the results you desire, then you need to attend each session (unless you are ill of course), as there are no refunds given for missed sessions. 


Q. How do I pay?

A. You pay by credit/debit card, or PayPal when you join below. Before the start of a new month you will be sent a URL to pay your monthly renewal. Payments must be made before your first day of the month. 


Q. Do you offer discounts?

A.  There are fantastic referral rewards for introducing your friends/family. After your first month, if you refer 1 friend that becomes a member, you get your next month with a 50% discount. Refer 2 friends who become members, and you don’t pay anything for your next month. You may never have to pay full price again.

When you introduce a friend who becomes a member, you will be sent a special URL that allows you to only pay 50% of the monthly fee. If you introduce two friends who become members, just turn up for your next free month.

If your friends/family are interested in joining our boot camp, they can come for a free trial during one of the sessions during the last week of the month.



Q. What if a boot camp day falls on a national holiday?

A. National holiday, or not, boot camps will be held.


Q. What if there are five weeks in a month?

A. We usually have the last week off if that happens. A break from exercise sometimes is perfectly okay.


Q. What will I be doing?

A. You will be doing a variety of functional exercises to work your entire body using your own body weight - all whilst having fantastic fun and burning loads of calories.


Q. Why 45-min sessions?

A. Research shows that the best way to burn fat is to do resistance training and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT cardio) for no longer than 45 minutes. This will literally set your body up to burn calories for up to 48 hours after your training session.


Q. Will boot camp be too hard for me?

A. It doesn’t matter if your level of fitness is currently low, because almost everything we do will have a modified, easier version. You must be prepared to work hard, but still only within your range of fitness.


 Q. What do I need to bring with me?

A. Bring a towel, water, an exercise/yoga mat, and a skipping rope. Also make sure that you bring comfortable indoor cross-training shoes with good grip. It’s optional, but if you want to wear a heart rate monitor to ensure that you are not overexerting yourself, and staying within your safe range, please go ahead and buy one.

Q. What language will the boot camp be held in?

A. Sessions will be in English. Don’t worry if English is not your first language, as all the exercises will be demonstrated by Mark before you do them, so language is not a big problem. Just be ready to sweat. Email support will be in English and Japanese.

Q. Does the studio have showers?

A. The studio doesn't have showers, but there is adequate space to privately change in the restroom area.
